Welcome to Soksabike! These Terms of Use and Service govern your use of our website and your participation in any bicycle tours or experiences operated by our team in Battambang, Cambodia. By accessing our website or booking a tour, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking and Payment Policies

All tour bookings are subject to availability. To secure your reservation, full payment or a designated deposit must be made at the time of booking. Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without prior notice, though confirmed bookings will always be honored at the original rate.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that travel plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled tour departure will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour departure are non-refundable.
  • In the rare event that we must cancel a tour due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered a chance to reschedule or receive a full refund.

3. Safety and Health Requirements

Cycling through rural landscapes requires a baseline level of physical fitness and awareness. By participating in our tours, you confirm that you are in good health and capable of riding a bicycle safely.

Guests must strictly follow all traffic, road awareness, and safety instructions provided by our guides and mechanics—such as Phalla and the rest of our leadership team—to ensure a safe ride through the countryside. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a tour if their behavior endangers themselves, our staff, or the community.

4. Responsible Tourism and Community Respect

As a social enterprise, our core mission is to empower the local community. Guests are required to act respectfully toward local residents, artisans, and the environment. This includes:

  • Adhering to our ChildSafe policies, which strictly prohibit giving money or gifts directly to children on the street.
  • Asking for permission before taking photographs of local individuals or their homes.
  • Respecting local customs and dressing modestly when visiting pagodas or spiritual sites.

5. Assumption of Risk and Liability

While we prioritize your safety with well-maintained equipment and highly trained staff, cycling inherently carries some risks. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Soksabike, its managers, guides, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss sustained during the tour, except where such liability cannot be excluded by Cambodian law.

6. Website Use and Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, logos, and custom map designs, is the exclusive property of Soksabike. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any materials from this site without our express written permission.
