Communications Intern
Responsibilities:
- Write blog articles for our website regularly (frequency to be determined later); topics include: cycling, responsible tourism, community development, social enterprise, agriculture, Cambodian culture, etc.
- Take pictures and videos of our tours for publication
- Update the website with new pictures, blog posts, and other content
- Manage social media (facebook, twitter, instagram etc)
- Get Soksabike listed on tour search websites
- Develop communications material on the topic of responsible tourism
- Train local staff on any of the above on a regular basis
- Coordinate with website administrator to update and manage the website
Requirements:
- Knowledge/interests in at least two of the following: cycling, tourism, responsible tourism, community development, outdoor activities, agriculture, Cambodian culture, and social enterprises
- Good working knowledge in writing SEO content and WordPress
- Excellent writing skills. Photography and videography skills an asset.
- Has graduated with a bachelor degree at University (Communications, marketing, journalism major a bonus)
- Can work at 20-40 hours per week, between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm as needed
- Has strong spoken and written English
- To be able to relocate to Battambang, Cambodia, for 2-6 months
