Why Soksabike?

Soksabike tours exists because we believe in the positive impact responsible tourism can have on Cambodian society.

Our guides are all Battambang locals and we work hard to support their pursuit of ongoing education as they work with us. We ensure that community members are fairly compensated for their participation in Soksabike tours, and we are committed to promoting as much as possible responsible tourism practices amongst our guests so that their visit will have a positive impact not only in Battambang, but for years to come.

Soksabike bicycle tours is a social enterprise offering people all around the world an insight into the traditional livelihoods of the Cambodian countryside. We place an emphasis on educating guests in the realities of life in rural Cambodia, and ensure that your visit makes a positive impact on the local communities – economically, socially and ecologically.

Our goal

To educate tourists about daily Cambodian life, to facilitate real cross-cultural connections, and to provide our guests with guidance and information on how they can have a positive impact on the locations they travel to. In addition to these goals, we aim to provide our tourists with an awesome and unforgettable experience.

What’s with the name?

A little cheesy perhaps, Sok SaBike is a play on the Cambodian greeting Sok Sabai which roughly translates to Are you well?
